The short version of a long story.
I'm Naveen Kumar Pendyam, a BCA student at Presidency University, Bengaluru, maintaining a CGPA of 8.59 while building things that refuse to stay inside the classroom.
I started with Python and quickly fell into machine learning — the kind where you train a model to detect brain tumors from MRI scans, not the kind where you ask ChatGPT to write your homework. From there I picked up web development (React, Next.js, TypeScript) because every model deserves a frontend people can actually use.
Most of my projects sit at the intersection of ML and real-world impact: lung cancer prediction systems, credit card risk analyzers, torrent clients built from scratch, and desktop tools that scratched my own itch hard enough to open-source. I think in systems — if something can be automated, streamlined, or made smarter, I'll probably try.
Outside the editor, you'll find me tweaking my Neovim config, experimenting with 3D on the web (the keyboard you scrolled past? I built that in Spline), or writing the occasional blog post about something I broke and then figured out. I believe the best portfolio isn't a list of technologies — it's proof that you ship.
Currently open to internships and collaborations. If you're building something interesting, I'd love to hear about it.
